Rough Cutout
Rough Cutout is a display typeface inspired by the spontaneity of handmade collage, where every letter looks as if it had been cut from a different piece of paper with scissors and assembled by hand. No two characters share the same personality. Some are bold, others are thin. Some are wide, others are narrow. The irregular edges, uneven proportions, and deliberately mismatched forms give the font an expressive, raw energy that refuses to feel predictable.
font includes two uppercase alphabets, allowing you to alternate characters and create compositions without repeating the same letterforms. Mixing both sets enhances the handcrafted collage aesthetic, making every word feel unique and organically assembled. The font includes 219 glyphs, covering everything you need for bold creative work.
Whether you're designing posters, album covers, magazines, branding, packaging, or collage-inspired artwork, Rough Cutout brings an imperfect, rebellious, and unmistakably handmade character to every composition.
Testimonials
"If it wasn’t for Misprinted Type’s brushes, there would be no 46pgs magazine. With these new tools, he opened up a whole new world for me. Buying the "Everything Bundle" is actually your best grunge investment because it’s not just a tool, but grunge inspiration and motivation at its best."
Nevio, 46pgs magazine
